Lisa Barnes completed her first adventure race in 1998 and fell in
love with the sport. To train for adventure racing, Lisa participates
in a variety of outdoor sports including rock climbing, mountain biking,
road cycling, kayaking and trail running. Lisa has been rock climbing
for 13 years and enjoys both traditional and sport climbing. She
has been an avid cyclist for 10 years and has competed in numerous USCF
and NORBA races. She completed the 2002 Cochise County Cycling Classic
252 mile event, finishing as the 1st place female and 9th overall.
