Jeffery Potter
Jeffrey is a recent addition to Team Santa Fe. Jeffery grew up
in Central California where he learned to hike most of the Sierra Nevada's
and John Muir Trails, rock climb and kayak. After relocating to Santa Barbara,
California, Jeffery participated in many local 10 K runs and open water swims
including the Manhattan Beach Pier to Pier swims.
He has rock climbed in many great locations in California including Yosemite
and Joshua Tree California. He has climbed Gannette Peak in Wyoming and been
invited to Base Camp Everest. He has also participated in nationally sanctioned
white water rafting competitions and run the Grand Canyon. The
Grand Slam of White Water in California and Oregon. Mountain biking has come
about as a way to save "the old knees".
He is a 25 year veteran in the commercial real estate investment and development
business in Western United States and Hawaii. He is considered an expert
by many national periodicals and lectures from time to time at USC and UCLA.
He is a former graduate of USC and sits on many boards for various business
entities in California and New Mexico in including the Blue Ribbon Telecommunications
Task Force for Senator Domenici, Board Member for National Association of
Industrial and Office Parks. When he is not in New
Mexico, he spends time with girlfriend and his 6 polo ponies in California
or snow skiing.
