Helen Morrell
Helen
began her outdoor career 20 years ago as an avid rock climber. She instructed
throughout the Southeast for organizations such as Executive Adventures and
Outward Bound. She co-founded and operated Windy Ridge Mountain Guides, a
local climbing instruction and guide service in the Southeast. After relocating
to Santa Fe in the early ‘90’s, she obtained a nursing degree and has worked
as a nurse since then. Mountain biking has become her primary focus and she
has been involved in many regional events.

- Dawn till Dusk 12 Hour Mountain Bike Team Relay- 1st place Women’s Duo
- King of the Mountain Duathlon- 1st Place
- Chile Challenge Cross country race: 4th Place
- 24 Hours of Moab Team relay- 3rd Place Women’s Team
- 24 hours of the Old Pueblo- Women’s 4 Person Team
- Firecracker 50-50 mile Mountain Bike Race- 1st Place
- Completed Iron Horse Classic, Run for the Zoo,
- Enchanted Circle Century, Elephant Rock Century and several local mountain bike races
- Rogaine, Los Alamos Orienteers
- Lungbuster Adventure Race
