24 Hours in the Ol Pueblo
Oracle, AZ • Feb 14-15 2026 https://results.epicrides.com/li…This 24 hour mountain bike race is on a fast 16 mile course with lots of twisting turns and jumping cactus! This was the 26h annual race. I was on the 5 person co-ed team with the sum of the racers age greater than 250. Our team was Dave's Not Here. There were 22 teams in our category, we finished 5th this year. Kim also had a team (Team Santa Fe) entered in this category and they finished in 11th place.
Kim Bear: 1d 1h 08m, 11/22, Coed Team 250+
The team consisted of Deborah Kearney, Brent Bonwell, Tom Egelhoff, Ruben Rosales and Kim. Kim did three laps, 1:22:15, 1:36:21 and 1:42:01.
Jan Bear: 1d 44m, 5/22, Coed Team 250+
Team consisted of Sara Ann Parks, Dave Million, David Jordan, Josh Propfe and I. My 4 lap times were, 1:09:23, 1:13:13, 1:14:02 and 1:11:42. The two longer laps were my two night laps.

Zia Rides Old Tucson 10 Hour Mountain Bike Race
Tucson, AZ • Jan 17 2026 https://my.raceresult.com/374313…A good race in warm weather! It's always nice to visit Tucson in January. The course has minimal climbing and is fast but you need to pay attention, lots of twists and turns. There is about a half mile that is more technical with some bigger rocks and drops that has the majority of the climb.
Jan Bear: 8h 55m 23s, 11/40, Male Duo
I did this race with Keith Bushaw. Keith and I did the same number of laps as last year. I felt bad that I didn't go out for the last lap as it dropped us from 9th place to 11th place. I probably had time as the two teams behind us went out and made it.
Kim Bear: 9h 07m 22s, 5/5, Female Duo
Kim did the race with Janice W. It was Janice's first ever mountain bike race. They each did three laps.
